where can I get a mxit .jar file to download on pC. . . because everytime I try download mxit it gives me a .jad file . . .plz Help DefZa
-----------------------------------
Hi, you can get the .jar file by looking inside the .jad file using Notepad or Wordpad in Windows, you'll see the address of the .jar file on the line that starts with: MIDlet-Jar-URL:
copy and paste that address starting with http:// into your browser, and save the .jar where you want.
Then you can change that address in the .jad file to just the filename and then open the .jad file in MPowerPlayer to make it work without a validation error.

Hey there. I using mpowerplayer to run mxit. But I want the full jar file. not the jad file. so that I dont have to download the jad file everytime. Because I use cellphone as modem. And takes money eveytime.

Good question.
Open the .jad in notepad;
Then download the .jar address given in the .jad.
Then you can edit the .jad from the "http://ww1.mxit...." line to just have the .jar's name.
Then you can open the .jad in MPP (MpowerPlayer), and it will use the local file rather than downloading the jar everytime!
